厚豬扒和蘋果味道很夾，自己比較喜歡Envy apple，剛好又當造，便拿來做sauce。先煮熟了豬扒，用留下的肉汁加雞湯和apple cider做sauce。這個pan sauce 有Envy蘋果的甜味，再加入其他香料和香草，很有秋冬的感覺。
2 pork chops with bones
½ red onion, sliced
100ml chicken broth
100ml apple cider
dijon mustard, cinnamon powder, allspice
minced fresh sage & rosemary
salt & peppercorn
Prepare ingredients. Whisk together broth, apple cider, mustard, cinnamon and allspice. Set aside.
Let pork chops rest at room temperature 10 mins before cooking. Season with salt & pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet. Sear the pork chops until brown on both sides and continue to cook until fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil.
Melt butter in the same skillet. Add in apples, onions, sage and rosemary and saute until tender. Pour in broth mixture and simmer until reduced by half. Return pork chops and spoon mixture over. Serve warm.
