Ravioli with sage butter sauce

Sage and butter is a perfect match to ravioli. It’s a restaurant quality meal to enjoy at home. Pour yourself a glass of white wine and enjoy the meal.

 

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 200-250g fresh ravioli of your choice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • walnuts, chopped
  • 15g butter
  • fresh sage
  • fresh or frozen spinach
  • salt & pepper to taste

 

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil. Once boiling, add the ravioli and cook according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain the ravioli and reserve 200ml of the cooking water.
  2. While the ravioli is cooking, add butter to a frying pan. When the butter begins to sizzle, add the garlic and walnuts. Cook until the garlic turns golden brown, remove from heat and stir in the sage.
  3. Return to heat, add the spinach and the cooking water. Cook until the spinach is wilted (1-2 minutes), add salt to taste. Finally, add the ravioli and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
