Ravioli with sage butter sauce
Sage and butter is a perfect match to ravioli. It’s a restaurant quality meal to enjoy at home. Pour yourself a glass of white wine and enjoy the meal.
Ingredients (2 servings)
- 200-250g fresh ravioli of your choice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- walnuts, chopped
- 15g butter
- fresh sage
- fresh or frozen spinach
- salt & pepper to taste
- Bring water to a boil. Once boiling, add the ravioli and cook according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain the ravioli and reserve 200ml of the cooking water.
- While the ravioli is cooking, add butter to a frying pan. When the butter begins to sizzle, add the garlic and walnuts. Cook until the garlic turns golden brown, remove from heat and stir in the sage.
- Return to heat, add the spinach and the cooking water. Cook until the spinach is wilted (1-2 minutes), add salt to taste. Finally, add the ravioli and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
